Design Process Slider
01 | PHONE CONSULT (complimentary)

Every design project begins with a 20-minute consultation to see if  MKW Design is right for you.

02 | IN-HOME CONSULT ($100)

Your in-home visit is where we get all the important details about your project. During your in-home consultation, we take photos and measurements and discuss your vision for your home.

03 | PROJECT SCOPE

In 24-48 hours, you receive a proposal outlining the scope of the project and estimated costs associated with design time. Once the proposal is accepted and signed, our work begins!

04 | PREP, PLAN + PRESENT

Over the next two weeks, we work on creating a design board and a design plan. The board and the plan give you 1-3 choices for each sourced item needed for the project. You always have the final say in the selection process.

05 | INSTALLATION

Decisions have been made on the details, and then it is time to order the items. MKW Design or the client can do the ordering–the choice is yours. Once items have been ordered, an installation date will be set.  We are happy to do the ordering for you so you can enjoy our trade discounts with Pottery Barn, West Elm, Restoration Hardware, Serena &Lily, Shades of Light, and Williams Sonoma Home.

Clients can choose to follow the design plan and DIY or have MKW Design come and put everything into place.

06 | CELEBRATION

*MKW Design can refer handymen and electricians if the project requires it, or the client may hire their own.

**Invoices for time rendered will be sent to you on the first of the month and are due upon receipt.
