We help you select everything from paint and flooring to backsplash, wallpaper, lighting, cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, and more. No detail is left untouched as we help you establish and design your dream home from scratch.
Give your favorite space a facelift! Using what you already own, we tweak your room by removing some pieces and adding a few new items to give your home a refreshed look and feel. Room refreshes minimally change your space with maximum impact.
Every design project begins with a 20-minute consultation to see if MKW Design is right for you.
Your in-home visit is where we get all the important details about your project. During your in-home consultation, we take photos and measurements and discuss your vision for your home.
In 24-48 hours, you receive a proposal outlining the scope of the project and estimated costs associated with design time. Once the proposal is accepted and signed, our work begins!
Over the next two weeks, we work on creating a design board and a design plan. The board and the plan give you 1-3 choices for each sourced item needed for the project. You always have the final say in the selection process.
Decisions have been made on the details, and then it is time to order the items. MKW Design or the client can do the ordering–the choice is yours. Once items have been ordered, an installation date will be set. We are happy to do the ordering for you so you can enjoy our trade discounts with Pottery Barn, West Elm, Restoration Hardware, Serena &Lily, Shades of Light, and Williams Sonoma Home.
Clients can choose to follow the design plan and DIY or have MKW Design come and put everything into place.

Clients are also welcome to hire their own service providers. Please note that while MKW Design may offer these referrals as a courtesy, it is not liable for the work, performance, or conduct of any third-party service providers and has no formal affiliation or partnership with them.
